Ingredients for Palak Khichdi Recipe
Basmati rice – 1/2 cup
Coriander – 1/2 cup
Spinach – 2 cups
Potatoes – 1
Carrot
Tomato
Onion – 2
Green Chilli
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
Cinnamon – 1/2 inch
Sharp Leaf – 1
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tspoon
Clove – 2
Cardamom – 2
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tbsp
Red Chili Powder – 1 tbsp
Salt – according to taste
Oil – as required

Instructions for Palak Khichdi Recipe In English
★ Wash rice, yellow lentils together and soak them for 30 mins.

★ Peel carrots, potatoes and cut them in slightly big pieces Finely chop onions, tomato and green chillies.

★ Wash spinach and finely chop it

★ Heat oil in cooker Add cumin seeds, clove, cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf and fry. Add finely chopped onions, green chillies and cook. Now add ginger garlic paste and mix. Then add tomato pieces and cook till tomatoes become soft. Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and mix. Add carrot, potato pieces and cook for 2 to 3 mins. Now add ground spinach paste and cook for 2 mins. Now add soaked rice, yellow lentils and mix. Add 3 ½ cup of water, salt and mix. Cover with lid and cook for 5 whistles Palak Khichdi is ready.
