The minister was here to lay foundations and inauguration of projects worth Rs 101 crore in Warangal West constituency. Minister for IT, Industries, Municipal Administration and Urban Development K T Rama Rao on Saturday launched a scathing attack against the Congress stating that the opposition party was only interested in obstructing the development of the State.
“Telangana State is doing exceptionally well on various fronts compared to other States in the country, the Minister said, addressing a massive public meeting here. He urged the people to bury the Congress to achieve ‘Bangaru Telangana.’ Stating that Congress leaders were making unnecessary hue and cry over developmental projects, the Minister said they had become a major obstacle on the path of development. “We are not answerable to these leaders; we are answerable only to the people. The decimation of Congress should start from Warangal,” he said, adding that Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao had been ranked on the top among chief ministers of the country only because of his innovative and welfare-oriented schemes launched in the State
