Much speculated space adventure film Saare Jahaan Se Achcha is finally ready to take off on its journey. The film’s production came to a halt when Shah Rukh Khan, who was supposed to play the male lead, backed out of the film last December. The film Saare Jahaan Se Achcha is supposed to be a biopic which will be made on the real life story of Rakesh Sharma who happens to be the first Indian to travel in space. Now, the makers of the film Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala have found a perfect match for the upcoming biopic who happens to be none other than the charming and talented Vicky Kaushal.
Vicky Kaushal will be signed in to play the character of former Indian Air Force pilot Rakesh Sharma in the film. Mahesh Mathai, the director of the film had planned its production a long time back but the makers of the film were left disappointed when two actors consecutively backed out from the film, first being Aamir Khan and second, Shah Rukh Khan. Vicky Kaushal has recently been in news for the tremendous success of his latest film Uri: The Surgical Strike which was released on January 11, 2019. Interestingly, Ronnie Screwvala happens to be the producer of Uri who will now be producing Saare Jahaan Se Achcha too.
